I am delighted to confirm that Heart of Midlothian FC have donated a prize for the Charity Dinner next year. What is it? You'll have to buy a ticket or a table to find out..... Thank you to HOMFC.
Update - 4th October 2007
I am very pleased to say that the West Lothian Courier have decided that they would like to run a story on the fundraising campaign for the Special Care Baby Unit at St Johns Hospital, Livingston. I am delighted that they have taken this step as it will obviously raise awareness of the need at the unit for equipment and funding, but also increase the volume of people who find out about the competition and charity dinner evening too! I'll keep you posted on developments.
Following a meeting today with the Special Care Baby Unit and the Head of Endowments at the NHS Lothian Health Board Endowment Fund, they have agreed to set up a specific fund designated to the St Johns Hospital Special Care Baby Unit. RESULT!!! They have been trying for some time to achieve this and with this fundraising campaign now kicking off, we have managed to get it into action together. The unit are delighted as it means that only they will have access to any funds in the account and it can only be used for equipment or patient amenities. Once the account is live, I'll be changing the website so that you can link through to donate online at the "Just Giving" website. Every penny will go into the fund, plus gift aid will be payable, which I cannot do myself. Watch this space :-)

Rangers FC have donated a prize for next year's Charity Dinner. If you're a Rangers fan, or even if you're not, you'll want to bid for this!! Thanks to Rangers Football Club.
Thank you to everyone who is helping to make this a success,
Angela
